Our company is committed to be a careful and conscientious protagonist in the agri-food industry, constantly implementing efficiency and sustainability measures in the production processes as well as in the continuous monitoring of the energy resources used in its factories, the related greenhouse gas emissions, water consumption and waste production. In the first months of 2020, we signed a special agreement with one of Italy's leading electricity producers, which has guaranteed us the distribution of electricity generated solely from renewable sources certified with Guarantee of Origin (GO). This will allow us to reduce greenhouse gas emissions produced by electricity consumption by 100%, thus ensuring the company will have zero net C02 emissions for the coming years. This is how we renewed our commitment to a new, greener and more sustainable world.
