The Coronavirus emergency devastated Italy and the whole world in early 2020. In such a difficult moment, our Group provided solutions to the numerous requests of support not only coming from the community of which it is part, but from the entire Apulian territory, where the company has its historical roots and where it decided to root its supply chain. We delivered over 400 FFP2 masks and a supply of digital thermometers to the San Paolo Hospital in Bari. In addition to this, we provided financial support through the "Insieme per la nostra Puglia" (Together for our Apulia) initiative that we created in order to donate 10 cents for every kilo of fresh pasta sold in Apulia during the lockdown period. In addition, through a campaign published in the press and on our social networks, we continue to support the "Coldiretti's MangiaItaliano initiative", to support the supply chain of small and medium sized Italian farms which, due to the drop in consumption and the block in exports, saw a sharp drop in sales. Finally, in recent months we increased exponentially the company donations to food banks, the Bitonto Health District and Caritas. Thesere were not sporadic contributions since we always allocated one of our warehouses to stocks for this purpose.
